"I want to stay in Biloxi," said Thao, who works as a welder when jobs are available. Son Hoang and his wife worked for the casinos before the storm. "There are 2,000 Vietnamese here, maybe. I have lived in California, Florida, Texas. Biloxi is the best. You can afford to buy a house here. That's what we all try to do, buy a house." He added that he hoped that Biloxi would continue to be a place where people like him can afford to buy. But first they have to hang on to what they had, he said. "We don't have insurance for the flood, only wind. I don't know what will happen."
